I've seen this video before. It's hilarious (and horrible - because it's so true). "The government can because they mix it up with lies and make it all taste good." This is sickeningly true. So many people will swallow poison as long as it has a candy-coating - "just a spoonful of sugar." When I think about that, I can't help thinking of the warnings that our fore-fathers gave us that those who desire security over liberty will deserve neither and lose both.
Very nice indeed. Just another reason to put your wealth into food and fuel instead of keeping it in cash which is buying us less and less due to run-away inflation rates.
A jar of canned food feeds my family the same today as it does tomorrow, not so with the dollar...
In response to the Tim Hawkins video "The Government Can" (whose use of humor to get the point across, I appreciate) - It never ceases to amaze me, the number of what I consider to be "intelligent" people that actually swallow all the OBVIOUS untruths (sugar-coated, sometimes) fed to us by politicians. How can we Christians (as a whole) honestly be so passive about our freedoms (which are vital to our ability to share the Good News) being stripped from us, one at a time?? We can be the "Light and Salt" and still stand firm for our National Freedoms and Rights in a manner that pleases, and glorifies our Lord and Saviour. Regardless of minor differences, we as believers, MUST make a COLLECTIVE and UNITED stand, and soon, or we will surely pay with our freedoms themselves!
