ReplyDeleteWhat a joy to see this post! I don't think I would have seen it but for your sharing. So thank you so much. We are all connected for sure and we need to remember that a lot of people who join our country do so in solidarity (or eventually get there) and add to our strength. Not everyone of course - I think we have lost a lot due to less pressure to assimilate. We need more connection and fewer silos.

ReplyDeleteOf course we live in a fallen world, and there will always come times when there MUST be killing (cases like the sacrifice necessary to stop Hitler)...
...but that's entirely different from training someone to lust for it and to seek it out.
A reminder that we must be vigilant, that we represent the God of Love that saved this man, and not a false god that we've made of our own fears (or worse, a demon presenting itself to us as "God"). We must constantly evaluate the fruits, for the real war is not against those who disagree, but against the Deceiver.
