Forget About Gun Control - Let's Talk About Government Control

Miss Serenity is preparing for her biggest school final of the year.  She has been tapped to speak at this years 2nd Amendment Rally being held in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho on April 19th.  Her speech is finished, her note cards prepared and she is steeling herself to speak in front of a large, armed contingent of fellow patriots.  This will be her public speaking final.  It is essentially pass/fail, which I've always thought was easier.  I expect her to knock it out of the park!

Serenity's speech outlines the real purpose of the 2nd Amendment - explaining in concise detail the American citizen's responsibility in securing their free state.

Of course, we are not the only ones to realize the deadly course we have chosen to allow our government to follow - the video link below outlines the only possible outcome of our unchecked government.

If you are in the area, and want to hear Miss Serenity and other patriots speak about the 2nd Amendment, the rally will be held at the North Idaho Fair Grounds on Saturday, April 19th at 12:00p.m.

I hope to see you there!

  1. Any possibility it could be taped and posted here for all of us to see? I'm local but already have a commitment that day. We'd LOVE to see it!

  2. Enola,

I know Serenity will knock the ball out of the park with her speech on the 2nd Amendment.

I wish we lived closer, my husband and I would love to see and hear her speech.

  3. Although I am in St Louis and no way I can get there, I forwarded this to a good friend that moved to Coeur D'Alene. Hopefully he can make it!

  4. My regards and best wishes to Miss Serenity for doing this. Having a voice and the confidence to use it is such a vitally important skill. I listened last Saturday as a 12-year old led the Opening Prayer at the LDS General Relief Society Meeting with was conducted at the Salt Lake City LDS Conference Center and broadcast around the world. Her confidence, clarity of speech and ease in public speaking was impressive and I am sure that Miss Serenity will achieve nothing less.

    2. Hey anon @2258hrs, Agreed! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, known as the Mormons, believes and teaches that God the Father used to be a man on another planet, that he became a God by following the laws and ordinances of that God on that planet and came to this world with his wife (she became a goddess), and that they produce a spirit offspring in heaven. These spirit offspring, which includes Jesus, the devil, and you and me, are all brothers and sisters born in the preexistence. These preexistence spirits come down and inhabit babies at the time of birth and their memories of the preexistence are lost at the time. Furthermore, faithful Mormons, who pay a full 10% tithe of their income to the Mormon church through Mormon temples, have the potential of becoming gods of their own planets and are then able to start the procedure over again. Is Mormonism Christian? NO. It is IDOLATRY

  5. Don't think I'll be getting to Coeur d'Alene, but I'll be thinking of your girl.

I'm sure she'll do fine. Hopefully more people will listen up. I don't like where this is going.

  6. "This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!"... Adolf Hitler. I tried to post this quote in my local paper, but I don't think they will. God Bless you all, I know she will do great. Rex P.

  8. It would be neat to come and see her and others speak, but I'm too far away to make it. I hope it goes well. Public speaking is a very useful skill, one I didn't develop until college - the earlier it is developed, the better.
    Godspeed to Miss Serenity!

  10. I would love to hear this, and wish I could be there.

You see, my father was born in 1926, in Germany. He passed away in 2011. My parents came to the United States in 1957. They had a sponsor, they spoke English.

You can do the math. You can figure out where my father was and what he did during his childhood.

My father was a pastry chef, he apprenticed in a number of countries. He and my mother settled in Connecticut in 1957. We lived the usual life, I went to school at Michigan State University, graduating in 1983 with a DVM degree. When he passed away in 2010, I was astonished to find among his belongings a book written by a former US Diplomat, which contained a page torn from a newspaper of the day........a copy of the Bill of Rights and the US Constitution. This has changed the way I think of him forever.

Please let Miss Serenity know that what she says is SO important to those who will listen. I hope and pray that she sparks someone's mind into the present!

  14. There is a developing story that has not been reported by the mainstream media yet, and its effects are far reaching. In 1992, federal agents squared off against Randy Weaver and his family/friends in an incident known as “Ruby Ridge”. While the merits of Mr. Weaver's case can be and has been argued, the bottom line is the Federal Government used inappropriate, overwhelming force and tactics in dealing with the situation. (We might also mention that there was no real disciplinarian action taken against those who were guilty of taking innocent American lives either.)

We now have, what appears to be, another similar incident shaping up in Nevada. The Moapa Valley Progress reports that one of the rancher's sons has been arrested in what is clearly inappropriate restriction of First Amendment rights.

When Ruby Ridge occurred, and again when Waco occurred, citizens were incensed and promised that that would never happen again. Now, the excesses are occurring again. We need to pay attention and support those who are inappropriately targeted by government.
