Saturday, Maid Elizabeth and I got up at the crack of dawn and drove an hour south to help Miss Serenity's best friend prepare for her wedding. Maid Elizabeth was in charge of photos and I did hair and makeup for the bridal party (don't ask me how that happened!) and Miss Serenity was the Maid of Honor. It was a beautiful day filled with joy and anticipation.

Ah, the joy of new beginnings!
All 3 of mine are now married, I was happy, I cried, and now I have a new granddaughter - and we have another new beginning - the Lord provides!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. Made me teary eyed.
ReplyDeleteEnola,
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, I love country weddings. Blessings to your daughter's friend and her new husband.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

A truly wonderful thing. Our kids are all grown and out of the house (one of the three married with kids - Grandchildren!) and we too miss the girl's slumber parties and the guys hanging out all hours of the day or evening, all knowing they are welcome to just go to the 'fridge' and get what they want. Cherish those days, Enola. They go by so fast!
