Ignorance Cloaked in Tolerance

I'm not much of a SNL fan, however their attempt at humor struck a little too close to the truth....

  1. That was disgusting! I can't believe with all the atrocities that ISIS has committed that SNL could even think this was humorous. What has happened to America???

  2. I don't watch SNL, but from what I understand they have no respect or consideration for anything or anyone. Why people waste their time watching this trash that masquerades as entertainment is beyond me.

  3. Well not having a television means we never watch, but what I took away from that sketch is the process of normalization that is going on. It is now "normal" for North Americans (sadly its north of the border too) to view their children joining foreign armies, even when the goals of those armies includes the destruction of their own people and way of life. We've seen it in Ireland, the Middle East, in South East Asia, even in Bosnia. With the rise of international terrorism and their mastery of social media mean that the bored and disaffected youth in the west, the angry and starving in refugee camps, and the children of the various diasporas become easy targets to finance and feed the need for foot soldiers. In Canada dual citizenship allows for divided loyalties. One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. Neither of our nations is doing a very good job at protecting our youth from getting sucking in or punishing those who participate.

  4. I liked the sketch because they were poking fun at the main stream media. The fact that some of our disaffected youth are actually joining is sad but the fact that the main stream media will not cover that fact is just sick! The PC crowd that says the muslim religion is a religion of peace have never read the Koran.

  5. ISIS, the best ‘terrorists’ that our covert Black Ops can buy.

Ridiculous you say? OK, answer one question. We have all seen MSM videos of ISIS troops parading through miles of open desert in nice white Toyota pickup trucks. If the MSM can find them why can’t our $630 billion military find them and take them out?

The whole phony ‘War on Terror’ is about creating fear in American sheep so that they happily give up precious freedom for the promise of ‘safety’. Now The Tyrant is at our door and it is not ISIS.

Like Benjamin Franklin said, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

    4. ISIS was armed by our government which was hell bent on taking our Assad in Syria who is an allied with Russia. It was utter foolishness to think they could control this bunch.

    5. "If the MSM can find them why can’t our $630 billion military find them and take them out?" Maybe its because we aren't on the ground to accomplish that mission. Stop being such a laughable alarmist..

    7. My Liberty Pastor preaches that if you are not taking flack for speaking the truth, then you are not even over the battlefield.

I've attracted more hostiles than ISIS. Thank you guys. Mission accomplished!.

    8. LOL! Back away from yourself! What "truth" did you speak? Paranoid, unsubstantiated rantings hardly qualify as truth! You and your "pastor" need to focus more on CHRIST and less on futile world events. This country is going to face quite a judgement due to its rejection of GOD in its constitution, so get ready cuz you haven't seen anything yet and all the guns, ammo, and preparedness will make no difference.

  7. Trust SNL to do another controversial sketch. Just a sign of how far we have fallen.
BTW. If Stewart Rhodes' informants' information is correct this Autumn ought to be VERY depressing and HIGHLY kinetic!

  8. Understand that this was not about ISIS. This was a slam against our military. This was an attempt to equate a parent sending their child off to join the U.S. military as equal to sending them off to ISIS. This is the classic left view of our military.

  9. Facts (and we 'whack jobs') are such pesky things. The US has admitted to funding terrorists including ISIS. FIVE sources confirmed this: the New York Times, CNN, Reuters, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal.
