I drink coffee, as tea upsets my stomach. :( I know my children have loved Coffee icecream since they were little, so maybe this ritual could use the flavored instant cappuccinos for the children while the adults have regular coffee. Just make the instant flavored coffee weaker so the kids don't get as much caffiene, though the instant ones aren't that strong to start with. Course, any of it can be home-made if you prefer. Bring on the perculator!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-12303758537567505852011-05-01T13:31:13.060-07:002011-05-01T13:31:13.060-07:00Do you drink coffee also? If you pour boiling water over the tea it scoarches the leaves and makes the tea bitter, so let the water cool for one minute before brewing. The tea will be smoother and and sweeter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-40833120315629693462011-05-01T11:27:14.270-07:002011-05-01T11:27:14.270-07:00Oh,I'm wishing I were fortunate enough to sit ...Oh,I'm wishing I were fortunate enough to sit at your tea table Enola.
Thank you for sharing this special family tradition with us.

notutopiaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-44922377271953947232011-05-01T11:11:54.900-07:002011-05-01T11:11:54.900-07:00Those cookies look delicious...I've got the re...Those cookies look delicious...I've got the recipe and I'll be trying it...I'm also going to make some of your chicken chow mein...=) I'll let you know how that comes out.

Thanks for the recipes...Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622338474989335764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-37264292956696521782011-05-01T07:10:59.279-07:002011-05-01T07:10:59.279-07:00You always have the best recipes. simple, but eleg...You always have the best recipes. simple, but elegant.
