We just recently moved into a new home and we've got our very first fireplace ever--not a necessity where we are, but definitely a welcome luxury on our rare rainy nights.

Desert BirdAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-38313850217720075342010-09-18T12:45:56.268-07:002010-09-18T12:45:56.268-07:00thank you for the help i will try it cherylthank you for the help i will try it cherylAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-63913113969365246872010-09-17T07:23:32.702-07:002010-09-17T07:23:32.702-07:00Anonymous;

I have used them for years in our wood cookstove with no problems!

Cheryl;
I don't measure anything when I make these, but it's really pretty easy. It will depend on the size of you pot, but I just melt enough wax to be able to dip the pinecones (either the whole cone or just the big end) and then add enough essential oil to have a nice scent. I add the essential oil after I have taken the wax off the heat. I usually use a half a bottle or so because I like my pinecones to have a heady aroma. Give it a try - It is easy and fun.Enola Gayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12719123975236426938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-47606598553419159812010-09-14T12:37:16.233-07:002010-09-14T12:37:16.233-07:00how do you do this step by step. like how much wax...how do you do this step by step. like how much wax how many drops of oil? thank you cherylAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-31036449136430871472010-09-14T11:36:23.113-07:002010-09-14T11:36:23.113-07:00Thanks for a great post. Does the wax just burn off or does it leave any residue ( in the stove pipe) that you are aware of?
Thanks for the info.

TinaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
