Church goers have lost their discernment.

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." Revelation 18:4.

Too many "Christians" are lulled into a stupor about anything and everything going on around them, to their shame and judgment..even standing up for false teachings and predatory priests and pastors. Then insult of insults...shun and disparage the person who has been abused.

Judgment begins with the house of God. and rightly so.

Many people need to look open their ears and eyes to what's going on all around them and not stick their heads in the sand, and not be afraid to leave the false churches and change their beliefs into what God's word REALLY says. A Democracy is based on majority rule. This was never what our founders intended. In fact the exact opposite is true. My retirement from law enforcement was from California and I truly feel blessed to have been able to emerge from the ashes of what used to be a decsent place to live. California has now become a marxist Tyranny that will never be reversed. In regards to your comments about gun confiscation by your local Sheriff, let me say this. The Second Amendment has absolutely nothing to do with sporting purposes such as target shooting and hunting. The Second Amendment is a last resort insurance policy against Tyranny both foriegn and in particular domestic tyranny. The founders of this country intended that the poeple have the ability to defend themselfs from tyrants by ensuring that they had the right to possess weopons that were of modern design and in current use at the time. During the time of the founders this was the muskets of the day. During current times it is the AR 15 and similar firearms of the day. Regardless of what the county Sheriff states, you must make a very important decision. At what point do you draw the line. Thus far actual national gun confiscation has not occured in this country. If it did are you willing to give your life to defend it. Would you be willing to give your life if the Government passed laws to take away free speech. What about the fourth Amendment ( search and siesure .). What makes the Second Amendment any less important than the rest of the Bill of Rights. In my opinion it is the most important, as it allows us to protect all of the other liberties that were provided for in the Bill of Rights. personaly I made my decision to these questions long ago. Just remember this. There is no place left in the world to go if these rights ( all of the Bill of Rights or any one of them) are taken away. America is the only place where the fight for freedom would have to take place. I pray to my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ on a daily basis that this battle will never have to take place especially for my children and their children. However, if it ever does I will be prepared. By the way , I was not aware that any Sheriff in Idaho was willing to assist in any future Gun confiscation. You might want to re check your facts on that. May God Bless and protect those under his grace and deliver this country from any future evil coming are way. Enola's post basically stated that there are "bad apples" in every group. You may not have seen these things during your career and that is a blessing. I really wish we could all say that and wish people just respected other people and their property. I am guessing you find some of my posts disturbing and unfortuately I could add a few more incidents. You sound like you have had a long and good career and have moved your family to that area of the country looking for like minded folks. Please keep this in mind; in some small rural areas if you were not born there you are an outsider. I lived part of a year in a small town in Minnesota and was told that by several people who had moved in - you could live there 20 years but you were still an "outsider". That does not mean you can not be or are not well thought of in the community. I am not saying it is good or bad - it is just the way things are and you just can't take it personally.

We have had livestock injured, buildings hit while we were in them (I call these "drive by shootings" - yes the land is well posted)and we have had the house damaged due to an attempted break in last fall. (Big,loud house dogs make a good deterrant.) It is not that I don't think our LEO are not working hard or spread too thin - I just think that locally there is too much emphasis on revenue from possible traffic stops.

On a side note - our County Sheriff has publically stated that should the Feds determine that citizen's guns be confiscated his officers would assist. We will be doing everything we can to see that this is his last term in office......

natokadn Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-15171109280728634042013-09-14T20:16:44.162-07:002013-09-14T20:16:44.162-07:00In most cases if the police had a search warrant, ...In most cases if the police had a search warrant, the homeowner foots the bill. I have recently retired after 31 years in law enforcement. God has blessed me by bringing my family to the American Redoubt. While I do love this place, I find that most poeple I have come accross in the Preparedness movement look at me with suspicion. While there will always be individual exceptions in any large agency, most in law enforcement take there oath to uphold the Bill of Rights very seriously. I am sorry to hear that your blog has a negative view of the police. I have met Sir Night who appears to be a man that I have much in commen with. My initial impressions are that he is a man that I could much admire and learn from. As far as protecting and serving. Yes I have done that on many occations over the years. I would give my life for all the individual liberties that the founders provided to us. I understand that these liberties come from God. I was always willing to refuse to obey any unlawful order. Even if it meant the end of my career. Fortunately this never happended as I never personaly experienced or witnessed any of the injustice you described in your posting.....Best wishes and may God Bless your family regardless of your view on the police.............Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-55499608244395464782013-09-13T07:42:39.335-07:002013-09-13T07:42:39.335-07:00If they did an entry, they had a warrant. ALWAYS abide by the Constitution please explain to me how a cop in our relatively small town decided that it would be fun to terrorize the ex-in laws, ticket them whenever possible and eventaully get tossed out of court(she lost) when she had to appear for a ticket she wrote up on her ex-mother in law. They at least had the good sense to FINALLY take her off the street (first a promotion to Dectective and last I heard a demotion). And we have a shortage of LEO around here.

Our forefathers wrote the Constitution as an attempt to prevent the possibility of a militarized police state. Other systems are, overall, worse than ours. Changing it would be the best option. Unfortunately there are far too many living here now who think the police can keep them safe. I tend to believe you think they can and have the right to do anything they wish in the process. Remember: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety..." Benjamin Franklin

The police do NOT have to respond to a call for help from the public should they choose not to. The courts have upheld several cases in different states where the police did not respond (and won)and yet most people are unaware of this. Yet they can stop me for any reason. I could also add I was pulled over taking my son to school at 10:00 am after an appointment because I was driving a "blue car" that someone had called in because a blue car was driving erradically. I was in a blue rag top 4 x 4, (Jeep) but I guess that is close enough to a "blue car". The poor officer in this case at least looked at me, my son and his oversized science project, our dumbfounded expressions as to WHY? and just said we were obviously not the "car" he was looking for.

We can keep "discussing" this - I do not believe we will agree. I can tell you that between us my spouse and I have somewhere around 70 years of driving experience and neither of us have ever lost a point off of our license or even reported more than deer damage or having our parked vehicles hit by someone else while parked, but we have been pulled over for many questionable reasons.

I don't call it probable cause or case law - I call it "Harassment"

natokadn Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8294304458677955232.post-52254614503586260222013-09-12T18:24:21.502-07:002013-09-12T18:24:21.502-07:00So what happened to a search warrant and an unanno...So what happened to a search warrant and an unannounced knock at the door? On the first lesson in
chapter 1, a question was asked, "What does temptation (evil) look like?" A flurry of answers and discussion ensued, with our answer being that evil looks like our Babylonian culture we are in. Will we be like Daniel, Shadrach, Mishak, and Abendigo? Or will we be influenced more by our culture?
Around here (the Midwest), most of the police are still held in high esteem and my politicans from my area are honorable men and women. However, when I get on the internet I am appalled.
Any organization is influenced by the culture, law enforcement and Congress included. We need to work on the culture. We need to ask the Lord for guidance and wisdom. Our greatest gift both to God and our culture is to live in the Word and show it by our actions.
